nerd 宅男
今次，就用圖片來決定吧！！
nerd，原本是用來指書呆子。近幾年開始用在宅男身上。早期的書呆子 nerd 有貶低的意思，但是如今的 nerd 宅男指的卻是上知天文下知地理的科技男，如今，許多熱愛 3C 資訊的男士們，紛紛自稱為 nerd，並視其為一種驕傲。(類似的字還有 geek )

今天要教大家的一句，是 "put someone on the spot" 字面上看起來，好像是把誰放在焦點上。
嗯，這句話的意思雖不中，亦不遠矣。"put someone on the spot" 就是讓某人為難的意思。
其英文解釋為：to cause someone difficulty or make them embarrassed by forcing them at that moment to make a difficult decision or answer an embarrassing question
運用方式可以用類似以下句子：

(可能很多二三十出頭的人大概很少人知道Dylan是誰了吧QQ)

看 CNN 學氣象
最近不只台灣美國也冷爆了><，小編在多倫多的親戚說是從他移民過去有史以來最冷的一年(零下40度)
大家知道這幾天新聞常提的北極寒流(氣旋)怎麼說嗎？？
一起跟帥氣的CNN主播Carl Azuz先生(和同樣英俊瀟灑的小編!?)學一點氣象英文跟美國地理位置吧！(今天的內容比較難一點喔！)

With much of the U.S. feeling the effects of the polar vortex, which sounds cool to say and means something much cooler, we`re focusing a lot of today`s show on the cold. How cold is it? Well, in Chicago the National Weather service called it Siberia yesterday. Temperatures fell to 14 below zero. That was colder than the South Pole, in Antarctica. Minneapolis, Minnesota warned its residents of historic and life threatening cold. With wind chills hovering around 50 below zero, frostbite can happen in a matter of minutes.
